No stranger to the “archived” pages of The Greener Side of HIp Hop, Zambian artist and hip hop  pioneer The Holstar dropped his five track EP entitled “Dreams Never Die” in late 2021. The EP is about positivity, hope, healing, love, and coming out of the clutches of doubt and discouragement which can be heard on the track “Something More. (“Soaring somewhere in the sky is the hope that we cannot fall. Hovering right above despair is the promise of a new day.”) On this “Dreams Never Die”, The Holstar also spends less time on rapping and stretches his vocals to deliver one half of “rapper singer” Holstar which gels well with the energetic and vibrant sounding tracks. When singing about his daughter on the track “Dreaming”, one can’t help but to feel the love in the lyrics and passion in the vocals. The Holstar also surprises listeners with an 80’s sounding song entitled “The Worst” which is about a relationship that didn’t work out. Being the third and middle track, “The Worst” will make listeners realize this is not a total hip hop project and love the fact that they’ve been gifted with The Holstar’s multifaceted talents.

“Dreams Never Die” is now available on all streaming platforms and below you can enjoy the visuals for the track off the EP entitled “Alright” featuring Killa.
